Payment is usually made on the day of the appointment, depending on exactly what treatment is performed. However, we understand the need for flexibility for many patients and are happy to take payments in instalments in certain circumstances.

For treatment requiring laboratory work (such as crowns and dentures), we may ask for a small deposit to cover lab fees before the final item is fitted.

Depending on the complexity and size of the treatment required, prices can vary. Having health insurance can cover for part, or even all the treatment costs, depending on the level of coverage and how much your annual allowance has been used thus far.

You can usually phone your health insurance provider and quote them an ‘item number’ for a certain treatment and they will inform you of how much you can expect to receive back from them for that particular treatment. Some treatments have numerous item numbers, so only use the information given by your health fund as a guide.
