We're here for you and your smile
A CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), also known as cone beam radiography, is a type of x-ray beam that captures an image by rotating around a patient's head. The images are more detailed and comprehensive than images produced in a digital dental x-ray. The data can be used to produce a three-dimensional image of the patient's mouth, jaws, neck, teeth, ears, nose and throat.
It is used by our dentists as a non-invasive way of assisting with treatment planning, diagnosis of dental trauma and cavities as well as post-surgery evaluations.
These images are especially useful when planning dental implant placements. They allow our dentists to visualise where the best bone is, so the implant is placed most securely.
For more information on a CBCT and how it applies to you and your treatment, we recommend that you contact or visit your local National Dental Care practice.
We understand that some dental treatments can be costly and leave you out of pocket. Our payment plans can help alleviate some of these stresses, helping you get the treatment you need and the smile you deserve today.
