Your First Visit

At National Dental Care, we are proud to be your dental consultants. Our role is to understand your needs and wants, combine these with our expert professional services, and provide you with customised dental plans.

On your first visit, you will be greeted by one of our friendly practice staff who will take details of your dental and medical history, contact information, and health insurance fund (if applicable). You may want to discuss payment options with our staff at this stage as we offer a range of flexible payment plans.

You must disclose any previous or current medical or oral health issues even if you don't think they might be relevant. Some medicines or diseases can have an impact on your oral health, and can also affect the success of dental treatments.

If you have any concerns about going to the dentist, please discuss this with your dentist, therapist or hygienist.


Appointment Time Changes

We understand that life gets busy and situations arise where you may need to change or delay an appointment. We are happy to accommodate any changes but ask that you do let us know as soon as possible. Please note that we may ask for a deposit for reservations longer than one hour.


Payment Options

To make things as easy as possible for our patients, we offer a full range of payment options. We offer Cash and EFTPOS (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as flexible payment plans such as Afterpay, and our very own interest-free payment plan, SmileFund.

For immediate private health fund claims, we offer HICAPS at all of our practices. All health funds are welcome, and we are preferred providers for many major health care systems.
