Dr Ireen Cherian graduated Charles Sturt University in Orange with a Bachelors of Dental Science in 2020. She has always been passionate about rural health as she herself grew up in Wagga Wagga. Having worked in Wagga for the past few years has been eye-opening to Dr Ireen in terms of the impact she and the Kooringal Dental team are able to make within this community. She can see that an extra helping hand within dental healthcare can go the distance.
Dr Ireen enjoys all types of dentistry, particularly restorative aspects as well as paediatric cases. She particularly enjoys working towards minimising any anxiety patients may feel that’s often associated with dental care.
In her spare time, she is usually outside, enjoying the sunshine as much as possible, catching up with friends, or watching movies.
Dr Leena's vision is to make her patients comfortable, educate and inspire them and to develop a long term relationship with them.
Dr Leena Cherian grew up in Bahrain and graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Manipal in 1997. She has been licenced to practice in Australia since 2011. As an experienced General Dentist, Dr Leena can take care of all your family’s dental needs. She is particularly interested in restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as in paediatric dentistry. As a mother of three, Dr Leena is very experienced in treating children and is extremely gentle. If your child is a bit nervous then Dr Leena will soon help them feel relaxed and comfortable.
Like everyone here at Kooringal Dental in Wagga Wagga, Dr Leena believes great dental care should focus on preventative dentistry, especially given the close connections between a healthy mouth and a healthy body.
She is also passionate about ensuring everyone receives excellent service, and nothing gives her more satisfaction in seeing someone leave the clinic with a healthy and happy smile.
Dr Leena has lived locally since 2008 and loves giving back to the community in Wagga Wagga. The dental team from Kooringal Dental in Wagga Wagga regularly visits Kaloola Old Age Home to check the dental health of the residents and to generally chat to them about their dental health.
You will find Dr Leena super friendly and easy to talk to during your visits to our clinic.
