Dr Lau is from Hong Kong where he obtained his Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Hong Kong. He worked as a dentist in both private and public sectors for over 10 years before he decided to migrate to Australia in 2009. Dr Lau had his first job in Australia working in the Blue Mountain area for 3 years before moving to Sydney and joined Dynamic smile in 2011 Clinically, Dr Lau provides a wide range of oral care and treatments adopting a painless philosophy with the intent to restore oral health and smiles. He also specialises in root canal treatment, crowns and veneers, surgical removal of wisdom teeth, and implant placement. After work, Dr Lau likes spending time with family and travelling.
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Dr Cecilia Yong went to high school in Adelaide prior to graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Prior to joining Dr Cheung’s practice, Dr Yong went on to work in the public dental sector and volunteered her services to treating underprivileged children in rural Shanxi, China. Dr Yong’s work ethics is reflected in her philosophy - I treat my patients the way I want my family members to be treated. This is demonstrated throughout her work through her genuine concern for her patients’ oral health as she treats her patients in a family friend holistic approach. It brings her great joy to see their confidence restored with a beautiful smile. As a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Yong is competent in all aspects of General Dentistry with a particular interest in Paediatric Dentistry, Dr Yong is able to put even the most dentally anxious child at ease. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends after work.
When you first meet Dr Denise Lu, you may be wondering where her accent is from. Born in Taiwan, raised in Canada, Dr Denise travelled across the globe and landed herself in beautiful Australia to study dentistry at Sydney University. As a kid, unlike most children, she always enjoyed going to the dentist. In fact, it was her paediatric dentist who inspired her to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. Now, she tries to put bright smiles on all of her patientsâ€™ faces, especially the little ones. With a gentle approach, Dr Denise focuses on providing comprehensive dental care tailored to each patient. She especially loves treating children, and doing cosmetic procedures including teeth whitening and InvisalignÂ®. Outside of work, she enjoys being out in the sun, jogging and doing some yoga. In the winter time, she will be at the snows perfecting her next snowboard trick!
Dr Dieu Huynh graduated from the University of Adelaide and has over 30 years of experience in dentistry. He has a particular interest in oral surgery, especially that of wisdom teeth removal. He also enjoys performing skin rejuvenation as well as jaw muscle relaxant treatments.
Upon graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Adelaide, Erica developed an interest in various aspects of dental care, in particularly preventative, restorative and cosmetic treatments. Driven by a commitment to improve the oral health of her patients, Erica finds immense satisfaction in recreating beautiful smiles and aims to improve the quality of life for members of the community throughout her career. Erica is fluent in English and Chinese (including Cantonese, Mandarin and Chiu Chow), allowing her to build good rapport with patients and colleagues. A firm believer in continuous education, Erica is dedicated in improving her skills and techniques and values feedback from her colleagues and patients in order to deliver the highest standard of work, and to achieve a pleasant experience for all her patients.
Dr Ian Shee graduated from Uni of Sydney 1985, practised in Malaysia for 2 years before returning to Australia to work in Griffith in South West NSW. Dr Shee practices in all facets of dentistry with particular interest in implant dentistry, minor oral surgery and prosthodontics. Outside work, Dr Shee has keen interest in skiing, hoping to ski in various ski scopes across all major resorts.
Dr Jenny Bai has always had a passion for health and helping people. After Dr Jenny graduated James Ruse Agricultural High School, she moved to Queensland to complete her Bachelor of Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. During her studies, she earned academic excellence awards and provided outstanding treatment to patients in Gold Coast and Warwick in rural Queensland. As a born and raised Sydneysider, Dr Jenny moved back home upon graduating and has since joined National Dental Care to provide high quality patient care to the community. Dr Jenny believes in a holistic approach to oral health and itâ€™s connection to our overall general health. For some patients, coming to the dentist can be an anxious experience, so Dr Jenny prides herself in making each visit as relaxing and enjoyable as it should be. She is a gentle and thorough dentist, customising treatments to each individual patient and their specific needs. Her focus is to help nurture lifelong partnerships for her patients and their teeth. Like how dentistry and health is constantly evolving, Dr Jenny is constantly updating her knowledge and broadening her skill set by attending courses and workshops as well as providing Invisalign in the future. She enjoys and offers a broad range of treatments for the whole family including cosmetic dentistry, crowns, extractions and children dentistry. When away from the surgery, Dr Jenny enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr Lee Wu was born and raised in Sydney, graduating dental school from Griffith University in the Gold Coast. Dr Wuâ€™s strong passion for dentistry is demonstrated through her delivery of high quality treatment and outcomes. She has a gentle personality and always keeps patient goals in mind, whilst educating and increasing awareness of oral health. Dr Wu has attained Academic Excellence Awards for five consecutive years throughout her degree, which placed her in the top 5% of her cohort. Since 2012, Dr Wu has been a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Since 2016, Dr Wu has been a member of the Australian Dental Association and has had an active role as a committee member of the MGRSG (Multidisciplinary-Grand-Rounds-Study-Group). In 2019, Dr Wu was offered a position in a dental specialist program.

Dr Mandy Liu graduated from University of Sydney with Bachelor of Dentistry (Honours) and received multiple awards in her final years of dental studies for her excellent clinical skills. She received a research grant and awards from Australian Dental Research Foundation and the Australian Dental Association. Mandy’s research focused on how diet, lifestyle and language barriers affected early childhood caries (tooth decay) in young children, and her research was published in 2012. Mandy provides a variety of dental services including Invisalign treatment, orthodontics, pola teeth whitening, root canal treatment, implant dentistry. She believes that it is important to integrate the latest diagnostic technology such as 3D X-rays, 3D scanner (iTero scanner), intra-oral camera into our daily practices so our patients can benefit from them. In recent years, Mandy has continued her post-graduate studies and has attended a large number of clinical conferences and courses of study, with strong focus on Invisalign treatment, to continually upgrade her knowledge and skills which help her stay on top of this fast-changing profession. Mandy is a registered Invisalign provider, a member of Australian Dental Association (NSW) and is bound by the Dental Board and ADA (NSW) code of ethics.
Dr Melissa Cheung is a caring and compassionate dentist who has been practicing as an Associate Dentist with the surgery for many years. Since graduating from Griffith University with the Graduate Diploma of Dentistry, she has public clinical experience working in Queensland public hospitals and rural Mount Isa. Working at Fantastic Smiles NDC has allowed her to achieve her life mission by placing emphasis in good oral health in individual and families. She offers a variety of dental services including Orthodontics and Invisalign. Her cheerfulness and clinical skills would give older patients a confident smile and given children a positive dental experience. In her free time Dr Cheung likes to venture on coastal hikes, bike rides or catching up with her family and friends while trying out new cafes.
