Dr Lavery graduated from the University of Queensland as a dentist in 1997. Working as a general dentist since graduating, Dr Lavery has gained experience in public and private practice and has enjoyed applying himself to most aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in orthodontics, Invisalign®, cosmetic dentistry, and CAD (Computer Aided Design) / CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture) dental techniques including ceramic (Cerec) restoration.
Dr Lavery has been providing a mix of general dental and orthodontic treatment in Brisbane, Regional Queensland and Darwin practices. Dr Lavery is married with two young children and enjoys spending time at the beach when time allows.
My approach to dentistry is empathetic, caring and gentle. I enjoy assisting my patients to feel comfortable when they come to visit. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry ranging from preventive dentistry to root canal treatment, crowns and bridges. My main interest is in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, offering Invisalign treatments, veneers, cosmetic injectables and muscle relaxants.
Outside of work, I enjoy coffee trips, training at the gym, walking my dog and exploring the outdoors.
Dr Erica Jorgensen
Dentist
Dr Erica Jorgensen graduated from James Cook University in Cairns in 2016. She has provided public and private dental care in various places around Queensland including Cairns, Thursday Island, Normanton, Doomadgee, Mornington Island, Cloncurry and Brisbane before joining National Dental Care in 2020.
Erica is originally from rural Queensland and grew up in a family passionate about farming and healthcare. She knew from a young age she wanted to help people and found the health, scientific and artistic aspects of dentistry made it an ideal career for her. She takes great pride in providing excellent, thorough and compassionate patient care with a focus on education and prevention. She is proficient in a range of services including cosmetic and preventative dentistry, whitening, root canal treatments, dental extractions, dentures, crowns and bridgework.
Outside of work Erica can be found out bush with her partner and dogs, attempting to catch fish. When back at home, she prides herself on her fish tanks, effort at keeping plants alive and engaging in projects to help her community out.
Dr Kieran McNamara
Dentist
Dr Kieran McNamara is passionate about giving the highest standard of patient care. He graduated from the University of Sydney with honours in a Bachelor of Dentistry and previously completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Queensland University.
Dr McNamara has spent a few busy years living and working in Country Queensland and Newcastle and is pleased to return to Brisbane.
Dr McNamara’s interests lie in cosmetic dentistry, tooth replacement and dental implants. He is an accredited member of The Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and completed the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry with the GIDE Institute at UCLA in 2011.
Outside of dentistry Kieran loves spending time with his wife and three sons. He enjoys living an active lifestyle that includes the running, cycling and hockey. He is also a regular attender of the New farm Parkrun and markets with his wife and young family.
Richard Chen
Oral Health Therapist
Richard is a friendly, caring and thoughtful oral health therapist. He completed his education and training in regional New South Wales, and has attended a variety of continuing education courses to advance his skills and knowledge. He has been working in private sector in sunny Queensland since 2018.
Richard strives to help patients achieve and maintain good oral health by delivering excellent services with his colleagues. He uses a gentle and patient-centred approach, and focuses on improving patients’ gum health, managing children’s oral health conditions and providing personalised oral care advice.
Outside of work he likes watching sports and listening to music.
