Dentist | BSc, BDent, MJDF RCS
I am a general dental practitioner who exclusively practices oral surgery. I have degrees from both the University of Western Australia and the University of Sydney, graduating from Dentistry in 2006. My interest in oral surgery began in dental school. I returned from the UK to work in the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia where I was based in the General & Specialist Clinic, the Oral Surgery department at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital and tutored undergraduate dental students in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. I am a member of the Australian Dental Association, the British Association of Oral Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons in England. Increasing demand has allowed me to focus my clinical practice entirely on oral surgery, which mainly revolves around the removal of wisdom teeth, removal of difficult/complex teeth including failed extractions, treatment of the medically compromised patient. My patients are able to undertake comfortable treatment regardless of complexity with extremely low complication rates and rapid recovery.
Dentist | BDS
I completed my Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia and then moved to Bunbury to work in a private dental practice for a few years. After tasting the many culinary delights the South West had to offer, I moved back to my hometown, sunny Perth. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and aim to constantly self improve by keeping abreast with the latest trends in dentistry. In particular, I look forward to building lasting relationships with my patients and I am committed to providing the best in dental care in a family friendly environment. In my spare time, I enjoy pilates, playing music, dancing and spending quality time with family and friends.
Awarded a First Class Honours degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Wales College of Medicine in 2008 during which I completed an Erasmus exchange to Malmo, Sweden. Subsequently completed General Professional Training in both practice-based dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Southwest of England. I relocated to Perth and have enjoyed furthering my skills in all areas of general practice; with my practising mantra being “prevention without over-interventionâ€. I pride myself on providing an optimal level of care and a positive experience for every patient that I have the privilege of caring for. I have particular interests in the fields of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and am registered as an Invisalign® provider.
I graduated from the University of Manchester (UK) in 2004. A few years later, I completed my Postgraduate course at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London, obtaining a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry. I worked in a private practice in London for 14 years before relocating to Perth in 2018. I strongly believe in minimally invasive treatment and always advise the simplest treatments in the first instance. My focus is largely on providing quality gentle dentistry. My special interest is in Restorative dentistry which includes crowns, veneers, bridges, root canal treatments to name a few. I am also fluent in Gujarati.
Paediatric Dentist | BDS, MDS (Paed dent) MRACDS
Dr Vaish completed her dentistry in 2007 and knew straightaway she wanted to work with children. She worked at a Paediatric dental practice for a year before she moved to Hong Kong to pursue her Masters in Dental surgery (Paediatric dentisty) from the prestigious University of Hong Kong dental school. In 2011, she moved to Australia and in 2013 joined the Doctor in Clinical dentistry, Paediatric dentistry program offered through UWA to pursue further post graduate training in paediatric dentistry. In the 18 months of this training she worked at the Princess Margaret hospital dental department, attended emergency on calls, was actively involved in management of newborn babies with cleft lip and palate and the cleft clinic, along with management of medically compromised children while also seeing to patients at the Oral health centre of WA. She completed her Membership exams in paediatric dentistry with the Royal Australian college of dental surgeons. She has also briefly worked in the School dental service and at the new Perth Children’s Hospital dental department. Dr Vaish is passionate about working with children and this is obvious in the way she handles them, she is patient and caring with the anxious little ones and believes her most important job is to give each child a positive experience and let them grow into happy dental patients! She goes out of her way to help parents understand the needs of the child and make them comfortable with the plan. Dr Vaish consults at our Cottesloe, Currambine and Baldivis practices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. She also treats patients who need a general anaesthetic through Southbank Day Surgery. In her spare time, she is a busy mom of two and loves spending time with her children, cooking and is working hard on her gardening skills!
