About Us
At National Dental Care, Brisbane (Post Office Square), we aim to treat all our patients, as we would wish to be treated ourselves. This involves integrity, continuing growth in knowledge, and empathy. We have an understanding that people are in a foreign environment and it is our task to make the experience as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
Our philosophy at Brisbane (Post Office Square) is simple: to treat all patients as we would wish to be treated. We recognise people have different priorities but also aim to impart the significant importance teeth can have on not only your oral health but also your general health. Remember that teeth are (or should be) there for life.
Some patients have been with us since the 1950s, and during that time, we have enhanced the facilities, equipment and treatments to become a progressive leader in dental care in Queensland. Our approach is to make your visit with us as enjoyable, informative and comfortable as possible. From the moment, you arrive to the time your treatment is concluded you will find that our service is centred on achieving the best long-term result available.
On street parking is available, with local bus stops nearby.

Alice was born in New Zealand where she spent the majority of her childhood before moving over to Australia for high school. Graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland in 2013, she has since been working in private practice treating patients of all ages.
A positive experience at the dentist is what Alice strives for each visit, ensuring that her patients are well-informed and looked after, especially when it comes to prevention of common dental conditions such as decay, erosion, wear and gum disease.
Alice is an animal-lover (especially dogs!) and has a passion for travel and exploring the world. She loves to experience different cultures and cuisines, so if you have any fascinating travel stories or restaurant recommendations, be sure to share them when you visit!

He is passionate about the field of dentistry and is continually seeking to improve his knowledge and skills. Jeremy’s interests lie in cosmetic dentistry, fixed prosthodontics and oral surgery. He also thrives off the various challenges that arise; enjoying the opportunity to learn and improve his skills. Jeremy is also fluent in Chinese and welcomes any international patients.
Outside of dentistry, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his cats and eating delicious food. When he gets the chance he loves being able to travel and gain new experiences and memories.
Dr Mani Abeywardana
Dentist
Dr Nirmani (Mani) Abeywardana completed a dual degree of Bachelor Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry on the Gold Coast, 2012. Since then she has worked in both private and public dentals worlds, along with several years on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. She then decided to make the move back to Brisbane with her husband, son, daughter and two beautiful pups (a cavoodle and a spoodle) to be closer to the big city life again.
She has a welcoming and approachable attitude and this combined with her relaxed nature puts patients at ease. She believes in listening to her patients and involving them in decision making process for the best possible outcome for their dental health. She is happy to take her time to explain and help to work through any questions.
She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry including crowns/veneers and clear aligners/Invisalign. She believes in educating people about dental health so all her patients are able to make the best informed decisions for their own dental health.
When she is not practicing Dentistry, Mani enjoys spending time with friends and family over a cheeseboard or settling onto the couch to watch a Disney movie or two. Her most treasured time is that spent with her family and watching her kids blossom.
