Dr Ahmed Hosny
Dentist
Dr. Ahmed graduated in 2006 with a degree in Dentistry from Egypt, where he began his career working in both a government clinic and his own private practice. Early in his career, he discovered a strong passion for endodontics and saving teeth through root canal treatment.
To build on this interest, he pursued advanced courses and training in endodontics. In 2010, he moved to Saudi Arabia, where he worked as an endodontist in a prestigious hospital until 2021. During this period, he continually expanded his knowledge, staying up to date with the latest advancements and techniques in root canal therapy.
In March 2020, Dr. Ahmed successfully passed the Australian Dental Council examination, becoming a registered general dentist in Australia. He then relocated to Western Australia and joined a private dental practice, where he provided comprehensive dental care with a focus on endodontic treatment.
Recognising that his true passion lies in endodontics, Dr. Ahmed commenced the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Endodontics at the University of Western Australia in 2025. His goal is to further specialise and provide patients with the highest standard of care in root canal therapy.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ahmed is dedicated to ongoing learning and takes pride in combining evidence-based practice with a compassionate approach to patient
