Dr Andrew South

Dr South is a western suburbs local, having grown up in West Beach and has been practicing in this area for close to 15 years after graduating from the University of Adelaide with the Dean’s Merit Award for outstanding achievement in dentistry.
As an experienced general dentist, Andrew enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in complex dental rehabilitations, cosmetic smile makeovers, and clear aligner orthodontics. Dr South is a firm believer in empowering his patients to make informed decisions in the best interests of their long term oral health, and is known for his comprehensiveness, attention to detail, and pride in his work. Anxious patients feel at ease with his gentle nature and explanations, and know that he will guide them through dental treatment at a pace they are comfortable with.
Outside work, Andrew has a young family and is a passionate surfer, skier and photographer, and speaks fluent German after living in Germany for a period during high school.
