Our team at National Dental Care, Tweed Heads are a collective of highly trained medical professionals, passionate about providing you and your family with an uncompromising level of care, complimented by sophisticated techniques and modern technology.
Lead Dentist | BDSc
I was educated at the University of Queensland and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1983. I worked in a private London practice for 20 years before returning to Australia in 2005 to join National Dental Care in Tweed. I am enjoying working at my current practice, and work hard to ensure the overall health and wellbeing of my patients is maintained at the clinic and at home. I have known and loved the Tweed area for an amazing 45 years, and spend as much time as I can fishing, fossicking, and gardening in the area.
Hygienist | Dip Dent Hygiene
Louise was born in Yorkshire in the UK and has worked in the dental industry since the age of 14. She started off as a dental nurse working for a NHS practice in the UK, then in the Community Dental Clinics working in schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, mobile dental vans and even a prison. After completing a combined Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at the University of Liverpool, UK in 2008, she worked as a Dental Therapist in the UK, until coming to Australia with her family in 2014. Louise is now a registered Dental Hygienist in Australia. In her spare time, Louise enjoys walking, painting and being with her family.
Oral Health Therapist | BOHT
I was born and raised in the Tweed Heads area, and consider myself quite the local! I have been in the dental industry for more than a decade, working as a dental assistant before completing a Bachelor degree in Oral Health Therapy at Griffith University in 2008. I have been on the National Dental Care team at the Tweed practice since 2009.Keeping gums healthy is my forte! I love to see the transition of my patient's oral health, especially children. I love trying to make children have a fun time at the dentist. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit and captaining the Pottsville women's soccer team.

I have studied at multiple education facilities, completing a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) at the University of Newcastle in 2001, a Graduate Diploma in MRS Ct Applications, Medical radiation science, CT at Charles Sturt University In 2005, and a Bachelor of Oral Health (Dental Science) and Graduate Diploma in Dental Science at Griffith University in 2010. I spent 15 years as a radiographer before practicing dentistry. During this time my workplaces included NSW Health and Tweed Hospital. I love the health industry, and enjoy working with people and their teeth. I like all aspects of dentistry, but particularly preventative dentistry, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. I love working in a great family practice with a heavy belief in prevention and realistic treatment planning. I work hard to present a gentle and understanding manner, striving to be a good listener and having faith in my patients.
