Formerly known as Australian Unity Dental Rowville, NDC Rowville opened its doors in January 2011 to provide high-quality care across a range of dental treatments. Our specialist oral surgeon is based at our Spring Street clinic and attends the Rowville clinic upon prior arrangement.
Conveniently located in a full-service medical clinic, you’ll find everything you need — including physiotherapy, pathology, osteopathy, and medical doctors — to get an all-round, holistic approach to your health.

Dr Anchali Khera acquired a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2008, before completing her Australian Dental Council examination in 2010. Before joining Australian Unity in 2012, she practiced in both Metropolitan and country Victoria in public and private clinics.
Dr Khera enjoys all aspects of dentistry and treating patients of all age groups. She understands that a dental visit may be daunting for some and therefore endeavors to make her patients visits as comfortable as she can with her compassionate nature. Dr Khera is an advocate for empowering patients to make informed decisions through education and a comprehensive understanding of available treatment options. Gentle, and a great listener Dr Khera aims for her patients to leave their appointment with a positive dental experience.
Dr Khera’s expertise span the multidisciplinary aspects of dental care including orthodontic and endodontic treatments. She particularly enjoys improving patient’s smiles; seeing the joy on their faces when their smile has been restored.
Outside the practice, Anchali spends time with her husband and two boys. They enjoy travelling and visiting new places, holidays, and spending time with family and friends. Anchali is fluent in English and Hindi.

Fathima Samsudeen completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2013, venturing forth on her journey to become a leading oral health therapist in Box Hill.
After providing dental services to a variety of diverse communities across Australia, Ms Samsudeen joined Australian Unity Dental and delivers top tier care that is personalised and tailored to suit client needs.
With a keen eye for detail and a meticulously planned out treatment, Fathima is able to help maintain bright, beautiful and radiant smiles that are both aesthetic and functional. She can confidently offer you a portfolio of multifarious dental solutions ranging from routine check-ups and fillings to thorough cleansing and fluoride applications.
Dr Kapil Narang, graduated with honours from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in 2005 and holds a specialist degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Dr Kapil has also authored various publications and research in the field of Endodontics. His interests lie in root canal treatment; however he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetic treatments.
With a wide range of experience, his moto is building relationships and providing painless dentistry. Kapil has a calm and soothing demeanour and loves to have chat with his patients. He is gentle and caring in his approach and aims to empower patients to maintain their dental health and smile confidently. As a multilingual dentist, Kapil converses comfortably in English, Hindi and Punjabi, allowing him to provide a warm experience for patients from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Outside of work, Kapil enjoys spending time with his family, playing cricket and tennis. He loves long drives and catching up with his friends.
Karim Faltas
Oral Health Therapist
Karim is an Oral Health Therapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University with a special interest in pediatric and restorative dentistry. He also holds a Dental technician degree, completed in 2019.
Karim enjoys all aspects of dentistry and aims to empower patients to overcome their dental anxieties, in a safe and comfortable environment.
Karim is fluent in both Arabic and English and enjoys catching up with friends and family, playing soccer and racing go-karts in his spare time.
Mark Shehata
Oral Health Therapist
Mark is an Oral Health Therapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University with a special interest in restorative dentistry. He also holds a certificate in Adult Restorative care which allows him to treat patients of all ages.
Mark is passionate about helping patients to prevent decay whilst improving their overall oral health. Mark’s expertise in treating patients with dental phobias is a driving force behind providing a safe and comfortable experience for all his patients while changing their view on dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Mark loves socialising with family and friends. He also loves dining out at new restaurants around Melbourne and spending time keeping active at the gym, and playing soccer.
