I have worked in the Dental Industry for 48 years in Western Australia, as a Dental Technician/Prosthetist, mainly self employed but joined the great DB Dental Team 10 years ago.
My interests outside of work include aviation (I have had my pilots licence and used to fly planes), music (I play the guitar and enjoy listening to live music) and swimming (I try to swim in the ocean beside my home every morning).
Dr Marek Deptula completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. With previous experience with both Private and Government patients he has a range of knowledge in treatment options and tailors a plan that suits each patient.

As a mature age student, Tom graduated from Otago University Dental School in 1973 and commenced his career in dentistry in 1974 in Narrogin W.A. The following year Tom moved to Bicton where he operated his own practice until 1986.
At that stage Tom was tempted to add a sense of adventure to the enjoyment of dental work, he did that by moving to the Pilbara, where he spent a year traveling weekly from the coast to inland Pilbara and back to the coast. A year later he established a practice in Claremont, but continued a FIFO service in Tom Price each Thursday and Friday, for 18 years.
Tom sold his Claremont practice to DB Dental in 2005, intending to retire. 15 years later Tom finds himself still working part-time, continuing to enjoy his work and the contact with patients and workmates.
