Don’t let your dental extras disappear on you

The cost of your next dental check-up could be covered

Did you know that as a health fund member, the cost of your next dental check-up could be covered by your extras?

That means no out-of-pocket costs* for you to pay. We will process your rebate immediately and you can claim on the same day as your treatment.

Now’s the time to book, as your health fund benefits may reset on July 1.

Every year, many of our patients miss out on dental extras they’ve already paid for by failing to use them before the reset – we wouldn’t want you to be one of them!

Don’t let your dental extras disappear on you – now’s the perfect time to put them to good use with a comprehensive check-up and clean.

Why a dental check-up is worth your time

Why a dental check-up is worth your time

A dental check-up every six months is vital to keep your oral health on track. It also enables us to spot any little issues before they can turn into bigger (and potentially expensive) problems.

During your check-up, we’ll perform a thorough inspection of your teeth and gums, and be on the lookout for signs of common issues such as:

  • Cavities
  • Tooth decay
  • Sensitivity
  • Gum disease

Your appointment will also include a professional clean, scale and floss, as well as the opportunity to discuss any additional concerns you might have.

What you may not know is…

The benefits of regular check-ups extend well beyond a healthy smile. Taking good care of your teeth and gums is linked to better overall health, too.

Frequently asked questions

Extras cover is health insurance for treatments that aren’t covered by Medicare or hospital cover. It includes dental, optical, physio and other healthcare services usually performed outside of hospital.

The best way to find out exactly what your dental cover includes is to log in to your health fund member account and check your policy details. Many dental insurance plans include gap-free* check-ups as part of your dental cover.

‘Gap-free’ means the cost of your check-up appointment is covered by your health fund, so you don’t pay any out-of-pocket costs on the day.

We accept all major health insurance providers and are proud to be the preferred provider of many funds.

Our practiceis equipped with HICAPS facilities, which means you can claim your dental health insurance rebate on the spot.

We offer flexible, interest-free payment plans that enable you to access the treatment you need right away, while paying the cost in instalments over time:

  • SmileFund
A flexible, interest-free payment plan that enables you to spread the cost of your dental care over time (up to 18 months)
  • Afterpay
Pay for treatments on the same day using Afterpay (a maximum cost of $1,500) and split the cost of your repayments into four equal instalments over an 8–week period.
