Dr. Clement Cheung
Dr Cheung attended King’s College in Hong Kong from 1975-1979 and Dentistry Sydney University from 1981-1985.
He then established his Ashfield and Hurstville surgery in 1986 and 1995 respectively.
Dr Cheung himself has a keen interest in complicated oral surgery and implant placement, with a track record of thousands of implants successfully placed over the last 10 years.
Dr Cheung also takes an active interest in continuing education, constantly keeping up to date with new techniques in the areas of anaesthetic dentistry to orthodontic courses and implant training.
When not practicing, Dr Cheung enjoys spending time with his two high-school aged boys, who are pursuing to follow in their father’s footsteps. He plays squash every week to stay active and is also a huge skiing fanatic.
As the Principal Dentist at Dynamic Smile, Dr Cheung is a professional, experienced and friendly dentist who enjoys changing the lives of his patients for the better.
Dr. Lin Chen
Graduating with honours form Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney, Dr Chen is a polite and friendly dentist who enjoys his work with passion and commitment.
Dr Chen has experience in all general fields of dentistry, and is a conscientious individual who is willing to listen closely to patients’ concerns while working with the technician to achieve the best possible clinical outcome. With that in mind, patients’ satisfaction is Dr Chen’s ultimate goal in dentistry.
Under Dr Chen’s care, any discomfort or concerns will be put to ease, your experience whether as an individual or if you come with your family, will be a comfortable and positive one.
Dr. Wai Hung Sung
Dr Sung obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Hong Kong. Having been raised in the colonial Hong Kong, the “East-meets-West” culture and philosophy led him to acquire his Diploma of Clinical Acupuncture, offered by SPACE (School of Professional and Continuing Education) at the University of Hong Kong.
Dr Sung furthered his studies upon migrating to Australia and obtained his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology, Sydney, and subsequently, his Master of Herbal Medicine at the University of Sydney.
Now registered with the Dental Board of New South Wales since obtaining his accreditations with the Australian Dental Council in 2000, Dr Sung is a passionate practitioner who is always patient-oriented, with his values and philosophy constantly reflected in his work.
Dr. Sarah Ooi
Dr Ooi has been practicing as an Associate Dentist with the surgery for a number of years. Patients of all backgrounds always find their experience with Dr Ooi an enjoyable one as she is fluent in many languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Malay and English.
Dr Ooi enjoys practicing general dentistry with a keen interest in treating children and providing prosthodontic and oral surgery treatment.
Dr Ooi is a firm believer that patients should be treated in the same way she would like her family to be treated. Her practice philosophy is “to treat every patient as a whole, not the individual tooth” and “the best treatment is prevention”. From the moment a patient step into the surgery, Dr Ooi will assist the patient in implementing good oral health practices into their regular routine and lifestyle.
Dr. Nancy Wu
After obtaining her Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of sydney, Dr Nancy Wu joined our surgery and started working as a full time dentist. She also serves as a member of staff at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney, actively involved in tutoring dental students in the discipline of Tooth Conservation.
Dr Wu is fluent in Mandarin, the Shanghai dialect and English. With a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry as well as her gentle and caring approach, Dr Wu also enjoys working with children and helping them build habits of maintaining good oral health.
Dr. Erica Wong
Upon graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Adelaide, Erica developed an interest in various aspects of dental care, in particularly preventative, restorative and cosmetic treatments.
Driven by a commitment to improve the oral health of her patients, Erica finds immense satisfaction in recreating beautiful smiles and aims to improve the quality of life for members of the community throughout her career.
Erica is fluent in English and Chinese (including Cantonese, Mandarin and Chiu Chow), allowing her to build good rapport with patients and colleagues. A firm believer in continuous education, Erica is dedicated in improving her skills and techniques and values feedback from her colleagues and patients in order to deliver the highest standard of work, and to achieve a pleasant experience for all her patients.
Dr. Cecilia Yong
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Dr Cecilia Yong went to high school in Adelaide prior to graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Prior to joining Dr Cheung’s practice, Dr Yong went on to work in the public dental sector and volunteered her services to treating underprivileged children in rural Shanxi, China.
Dr Yong’s work ethics is reflected in her philosophy- “I treat my patients the way I want my family members to be treated”. This is demonstrated throughout her work through her genuine concern for her patients’ oral health as she treats her patients in a family friend holistic approach. It brings her great joy to see their confidence restored with a beautiful smile.
As a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Yong is competent in all aspects of General Dentistry with a particular interest in Paediatric Dentistry, Dr Yong is able to put even the most dentally anxious child at ease.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends after work.
Dr. Ziushi Zeng
Dr Qiushi Zeng holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney.
A recipient of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Undergraduate Award of Merit, Qiushi is recognised for her excellent performance in the dental program.
Qiushi’s interests lie in all aspects of General Dentistry. Being a strong believer of preventative and conservative dentistry, she is committed at delivering care at maximum comfort to her patients.
When Qiushi is not practicing, she enjoys music, racquet sports and travelling.
Qiushi is fluent in both Mandarin and English .
Dr. Mandy Nga-Man Liu
Mandy is a highly qualified and motivated dentist.
During her extensive studies at the university of Sydney, Mandy has continuously excelled and was a recipients of numerous awards and scholarships including The HJC Cusack Memorial Prize for clinical proficiency and Australian Dental Research Foundation scholarship.
Mandy is a successful researcher in the field of public health who has presented at international conferences. Mandy has volunteered to return to the University of Sydney following her research to provide academic support to disadvantaged international students from third world countries.
Now, Mandy has taken her interest in research and transformed it into a continuing desire to achieve clinical excellence through the most up-to-date research and clinical techniques.
Mandy has gained a wide variety of clinical experiences working in public hospitals in both Sydney and Ballina, the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service in Broken Hill and her time working in private clinics in Sydney.
