Dr Sarah Caruso

Dr Sarah Caruso graduated from the Bachelor of dental surgery in Adelaide in 2009. Dr Caruso has wide ranging experience in all aspects of general dentistry with extensive further education and interests in cosmetics and smile makeovers including implants, veneers and clear aligner orthodontics. She is also at the forefront and skilled in the latest advances in minor oral surgery (extractions), laser dentistry, root canal therapy and digital ceramic restorations and smile design.
Dr Caruso is a member of the Australian Dental Association federal and SA branches and a past supervisor at the University of Adelaide dental school. She has also contributed to oral health programs and education in both Cambodia and Vanuatu as a volunteer dentist and educator.
Sarah has a caring and approachable manner, she has lived and worked in the northern suburbs of Adelaide all her life. She is married to Adrian (a physiotherapist) and has a young daughter called April. In her spare time she loves exploring new places and nature with her family and her spaniel Stella.
Dr Peter Nguyen

Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015, having lived and studied locally. Working private practice since then in both rural and metropolitan settings has allowed him to increase his scope of practice and has allowed him to foster a strong focus on preventative dentistry. His caring and gentle manner is appreciated and respected by patients. In his spare time Peter enjoys playing golf, travelling and spending with friends and family.

Dr Maree Bicopoulos

I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry and have worked in Canberra, Darwin and Wagga Wagga. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have special interests in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and treating nervous patients and children. In my spare time I enjoy doing Pilates, reading and spending time with my partner, our daughter and our dog.
Dr Emma Freeman

Emma graduated from the University of Adelaide with awards from the Australian Society of Orthodontists and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She has since practiced on the Spencer Gulf before joining the team at National Dental Care Mawson Lakes. She enjoys practising all fields of dentistry and gains satisfaction from providing patients with high quality care.
Emma understands that a visit to the dentist can be daunting for some, and does everything in her power to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She is passionate about building relationships with her patients, as well as practising and pursuing continuing education in all areas of dentistry to deliver lasting outcomes in function, comfort and aesthetics.

I have been a Dental Therapist with our practice since the start of 2007. I graduated from my Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) from the University of Adelaide in 2006. In my final year of study, I received a scholarship from the University of Adelaide to attend and present at the World Oral Health Week Seminars held at the INHolland University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
I am dedicated to maintaining the oral health of children, teenagers and young adults. In particular, I deal with many anxious patients and endeavour to create a relaxing and safe environment where my patients can feel at ease.
I have a special interest in;
– Single Visit Tooth Whitening using the SMARTBleach system.
– Children’s Dentistry,
– Sports Mouth Guards
Oral Health Therapist | BOH (Adel)
I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Oral Health degree. My degree allows me to provide thorough hygiene treatment for all ages and also dental treatment for children up to the age of 18 years old. I especially love to see patients as young as 18 months old to give them a wonderful and positive first dental experience. My goal is to show patients, young and old, that dental visits can be enjoyable, or less daunting than you expect. One of the most rewards aspects in dentistry for me is to assist patients with dental anxiety/phobias help overcome their fears. I am passionate about motivating patients to maintain their oral health and to understand the importance of dental hygiene, while developing a friendly relationship.
I also have a special interest in tooth whitening and have been trained in multiple types of tooth whitening to deliver safe and comfortable treatment for every patient. When I am not working at the clinic, I like to bake and spend time with my dogs.
Oral Health Therapist | BOH (Adel)
Alexandra graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2017. She has since practiced in the Clare Valley before joining the team at National Dental Care Mawson Lakes. Alex is passionate about taking care and treating patients under the age of 18 and has a special interest in making sports mouthguards as she plays Women’s AFL herself. Alex also enjoys working with adults, and educating them on the importance of optimal oral health and the link it has to general health. Alex understands that a visit to the dentist (especially for young children for the first time) can be daunting, and does everything in her power to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed (and fun!). When not working, Alex enjoys playing and watching sport and spending time with her white fluffy dog Oscar!
