I earned my undergraduate degree in dentistry from the Griffith University, School of Dentistry. I practice all facets of dentistry and thoroughly enjoy wisdom tooth removal and aesthetic restoration of teeth with modern techniques. I particularly enjoy working in our high-end surgery that allows me to get to know my patients, helping them relax and have a positive experience. Away from the demands of dentistry I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, horse riding and am trying my hand at golf.
Dr Shaddie Rashtak

Dr Rashtak completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011 at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She thoroughly enjoys all facets of dentistry, with a special interest in preventive dentistry, endodontic treatment and smile makeovers.
She uses her expertise and exceptional care to assist her clients form good habits for a great smile. Dr Rashtak ensures her clients experience in the dental surgery leaves them feeling relaxed and calm, and believes it is of utmost importance to carefully listen to their concerns to be able to present them with all possible treatment options to suit their individual needs. Her aim is to educate and motivate patients to take positive proactive steps for their oral and dental health. She enjoys working with a dedicated team of dental professionals who are like-minded to assist her in providing a caring, relaxed and professional workplace.
When Dr Rashtak is not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, cooking, meditation, going to movies and the gym. She also spends time socialising with family and friends and spoiling her fur baby ‘Madam Cat’.
Dr Jainy Shah

I graduated from D.Y.Patil University (Mumbai, India) in 2011, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. I received a gold medal for securing the highest score in my undergraduate program.
I have over 7 years of clinical experience. I enjoy all areas of general dentistry, with a special interest in aesthetic restorations and cosmetic procedures, root canals and crowns. I believe in a conservative and minimally invasive approach to help patients achieve long-lasting results and maintain good oral health.
With a friendly disposition and a strong passion for dentistry, I aim to blend my experience and knowledge to ensure that my patients are at ease and receive only the highest quality of dental care.
Dr Ren Ooi

Before his time with National Dental Care, Dr Ren Ooi completed his ‘Bachelor of Dental Surgery’ at the University of Adelaide, and has since worked in both rural and metropolitan practices in South Australia.
His clinical approach is to provide excellent dental treatment, a comfortable clinical experience, and to remain patient-oriented at all times. Patients have frequently commented on Dr Ren’s gentleness, especially when it comes to local anaesthetics. He thrives on seeing a diverse group of patients and performs a range of dental procedures such as fillings, root canals and dental crowns.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Ren Ooi is an avid baker, and used to run his very own macaron stall at local markets. He also enjoys hiking, and spending quality time with his wife and his fur baby, Lily cat.
Oral Health Therapist | BOH (Adel)
I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Oral Health degree. My degree allows me to provide thorough hygiene treatment for all ages and also dental treatment for children up to the age of 18 years old. I especially love to see patients as young as 18 months old to give them a wonderful and positive first dental experience. My goal is to show patients, young and old, that dental visits can be enjoyable, or less daunting than you expect. One of the most rewards aspects in dentistry for me is to assist patients with dental anxiety/phobias help overcome their fears. I am passionate about motivating patients to maintain their oral health and to understand the importance of dental hygiene, while developing a friendly relationship.
I also have a special interest in tooth whitening and have been trained in multiple types of tooth whitening to deliver safe and comfortable treatment for every patient. When I am not working at the clinic, I like to bake and spend time with my dogs.
Mr Tasman Mitchell

As a dental hygienist, I specialise in the prevention and management of periodontitis (gum disease) and dental caries (cavities). I earned myself an Advanced Diploma in Oral Health in 2017, and am now continuing my training with National Dental Care.
Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking and kayaking.
