Dr Kay Chia

Dr. Chia is our lead dentist at National Dental Care Brisbane CBD.
Dr. Chia started her career by graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science. With over 20 years of experience, Dr Chia has practiced in multiple locations across Queensland. Her first role was in Mooloolaba, followed by Brisbane CBD locations.
Dr. Chia’s interests in dentistry range from improving the aesthetics of a smile to endodontics, periodontal treatment, implants and minor oral surgery. Her years of experience enable her to manage complex dental treatments.
As well as practicing, Dr Chia enjoys mentoring her team.
As a member of the Australian Dental Association and International Team for Implantology, she is able to remain current in her knowledge and skills in dentistry.
Dr Chia’s leisure activities include travel, health and fitness, reinventing recipes, house renovations and music.
Dr. Damian Lavery

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997, with a Bachelor of Dental Science. I have been working as a general dentist ever since I graduated, gaining experience in both public and private practices. I enjoy applying myself to all aspects of dentistry, and have a particular interest in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) dental techniques, including ceramic restoration.
I am married, with two young children, and enjoy spending whatever spare time I have with them—preferably at the beach!
Dr Chirali Patel
Dentist | BDS (Hons) Cardiff, MFDS RCS (Edinburgh)
Dr Chirali Patel grew up in a small town in Wales, UK before graduating at Cardiff Uni in 2013. She offers a wide range of treatment and has worked with children, to patients with disabilities, the elderly and in the hospital alongside the maxillofacial team as a senior house officer. Chirali was a volunteer in 2012 in Ghana with a team of 23 undergraduates and 4 Dentist to help those who have never visited a dentist in their lives. Dr Chirali can speak arrange of languages from English to Hindi and Gujarati
Chirali moved to Australia in 2018 to further her career and sample life in the Southern Hemisphere. She is extremely passionate about her profession. Outside of work Chirali enjoy travelling, socialising keeping fit and taking on new challenges. Currently she is learning how to do salsa and bachata dancing.
