Dr. David Gordon

I graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1997, with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). I am the longest serving member of National Dental Care team at Absolute Dentistry, and have cultivated exceptional skills in this time, having experienced a wide array of dental procedures. My passion lies in caring for my patients; I pride myself on my ability to treat anxious patients with understanding and a friendly manner.

In my spare time, I love to play the piano.

Dr. Damian Lavery

Dentist  |  BDSc (QLD)

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997, with a Bachelor of Dental Science. I have been working as a general dentist ever since I graduated, gaining experience in both public and private practices. I enjoy applying myself to all aspects of dentistry, and have a particular interest in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) dental techniques, including ceramic restoration.

I am married, with two young children, and enjoy spending whatever spare time I have with them—preferably at the beach!

Brian Hallegua

Hygienist  |  DDH (Adel)

I graduated at the University of TAFE Adelaide in 2003. I have more than 12 years’ experience in the dental industry. Having worked in rural areas like Rockhampton and urban areas like Sydney and Perth before moving to Darwin. I look out for my patients comfort and am known for my gentle touch.

On a personal note, I enjoy travelling and I have a passion for languages.

Gloria Vergara

Hygienist  |  DDH (Gilles Plains)

I was an overseas dental practitioner and moved to Adelaide in 2012 to complete my studies. I have been in the dental industry for over a decade. I am patient and understanding with all patients and their dental fears. I am very gentle and passionate in my job to educate patients about good oral health.

In my spare time, I love gardening and playing badminton with my children

Dr James Min

Dr James Min completed his Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney. After making the move to Darwin in 2013, James has serviced the NT for almost 5 years and has formed a great reputation and is highly sought after. He takes tremendous pride in his work as he provides treatment to all of his patients in a conservative and meticulous manner. National Dental Care Darwin is very pleased to engage his services and join our team.

Dr James is always keen to expand his knowledge and enjoys learning to use new equipment and technology. Whilst enjoying all facets of general dentistry, James has a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics and oral medicine.

James has a goal of making your visit to our dental surgery, a relaxing and comfortable experience whilst walking away with a smile.

During his spare time, James enjoys travelling, DIY projects, car enthusiast and sports.

 

Kristina Thai

I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2014 from James Cook University Cairns.
I was previously working in Mackay, Queensland for 3 years before moving here to Darwin.
I believe in providing the best care possible for my patients and enjoy practicing all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery.
I am committed to continuing my professional development and am currently pursuing a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Aaron Tamayo

Obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in James Cook University in Cairns, Queensland in 2013. He then went on to work in both private and public dental clinics. He has undergone additional training on aesthetic dentistry, endodontics and implants. His main focus is preventative dentistry. He believes that the patient experience is the most important part of his day along with great chairside manners.

Dr Bryan Liau

I graduated with Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University (Gold Coast) in 2011 with several Academic Awards. I have worked in Darwin and Mount Isa since graduation.

I am passionate about doing excellent dentistry in a meticulous, painless and gentle manner to give patients their smile back. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis on minimally invasive dentistry and preventing toothache and gum disease. I understand a dental visit may be daunting for some and I strive to make dental visit a positive experience by ensuring everyone has been treated in a relaxed, caring and friendly environment.

I have always strived to excel and to further my skills by attending many dental continuing professional development courses to keep up with the latest information, techniques and technologies of modern dentistry for best patient outcome. Outside of dentistry, I play badminton and go to church. I can speak Cantonese, Hakka, Teochew, Malay and Indonesian.

Dr Prashant Krishna

Dr. Prashant Krishna completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University. He has worked in public practice providing dental services to remote locations in the Tiwi Islands and East Arnhem land; and has been working in the NT for the last three years in private practice in Darwin and Palmerston. Prashant has an eye for detail and aims to provide patients with the highest quality of dental care.

Dr. Prashant has also completed studies in radiation therapy and has applied his hospital experience to safely manage medially compromised patients and geriatric patients. Although Prashant enjoys all aspects of dentistry he has a particular interest in oral surgery, restorative dentistry and early intervention oral care.

In his spare time Prashant enjoys going to the gym, listening to music and cooking.

Dr Emma Gregory

Dentist  |  BDS (JCU)

Dr Emma Gregory graduated from James Cook University in Cairns with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2015. She went on to work as a general dentist in Central QLD and Cairns before making the move to the NT in July 2019.

Dr Gregory enjoys all areas of general dentistry with a particular passion for prosthodontics, children’s dentistry and treating patients with special needs. She prides herself on being gentle, friendly and compassionate when treating all patients.

In her spare time she enjoys competing in equestrian sports and scuba diving in the Darwin Harbour.
