I attended the Kings College University Hospital of Dental Hygiene (London) in 1996, obtaining a Certificate in Dental Assisting and a Diploma of Dental Hygiene. I have since undertaken studies in Dental Radiography at the Adelaide Dental School. I worked in an Oral Hygiene Centre and Devonshire Dental Clinic in London for 14 years, and working with Peter Gascoigne Orthodontics for 5 years before coming to join the National Dental Care team at South Terrace Dental Care as a hygienist.
For me it was a choice of nursing or dentistry. I love having hands on career, which involves making a difference and motivating people to live healthier lives. All aspects of dentistry appeal to me, and I have developed a special interest in advanced periodontics. I enjoy the challenge and seeing the final result.
I’m pleased with the way my current practice has been managed over the last 18 months. All the staff are friendly and good at their jobs.
I work hard to be an easy to talk to hygienist who is gentle yet thorough. I take the time to educate and motivate my patients.
I’m on the board of “The Friends of the Australian Ballet,” and like to spend any spare time with my 3 children & husband, coaching Netball, or reading.
