I have gained over 10 years’ experience in the dental industry, starting my career as a dental assistant and then in 2015 obtained my bachelor degree in Oral Health from the University of Newcastle.

As a dental hygienist my role is to assist patients to optimum oral health through education, oral hygiene instruction, treatment of gingivitis and periodontal disease, as well as routine scale and cleans. With a focus on preventative care, I am committed to motivating and assisting patients to good oral hygiene habits and healthy smiles, working closely in conjunction with the dentists. I always encourage regular check-up and cleans’ so we can not only support you in routine maintenance but also detect changes to the oral environment early before they become more complex and destructive.

I am continually updating my skills and knowledge through continuing education to ensure I am up to date with current techniques, products and practices to provide the most holistic and utmost care to my patients.

Outside of dentistry I volunteer my time as a Girl Guide Leader and enjoy bushwalks and exploring the outdoors.

I am a qualified Dental Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in Private Practice in Australia and England. I established Blue House Dental in 2003 after working in Forestway Shopping Centre for 7 years.

My focus at Blue House Dental has been to create a dental practice that provides world class dental treatment in a safe environment as gently and efficiently as possible. To achieve this, I have state of the art equipment operated by highly qualified and well trained staff. I am particularly interested in CADCAM dentistry, tooth replacement with dental implants and wisdom teeth removal. I have completed post graduate education in Australia, Germany and the USA and I am also a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology.

Dr KenOn Chan completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Dundee in 2010 and his MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2011. He completed his DF2 year working at Ninewells maxillofacial surgery department and Dundee Dental Hospital completing treatment plans under specialist consultants but after a couple of years in the NHS he made the move to Australia and has never looked back. Living in sunny Coffs Harbour for over 4 years then moving to Sydney a few years back.

Dr Chan enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially working as a team with his patients to develop a foundation of comfort and trust. He also likes keeping up to date with all the new options available for patients due to technological advancements.

He believes that the best policy in dentistry is early prevention to help maintain happy, healthy teeth. He wants future patients to know that he is always happy to answer any questions and that there are no silly questions when it comes to oral health.

Ken enjoys the sunny Sydney culture and having a strong work-life balance (although he does miss some of the unhealthier treats from back home in Scotland!)

I am a qualified dental surgeon with over 20 years’ experience. I graduated from Otago University in New Zealand in 1998 and spent four years working in the UK before settling on the Northern Beaches. I have worked at Blue House Dental for over 15 years and it has been a pleasure to serve the community of Frenchs Forest.

I am committed to delivering gold standard treatment in a gentle caring environment to make your visit as pleasant as possible. We are equipped with state of the art technology and have autonomy over the materials we use and time we can spend ensuring the best treatment outcomes for you as a patient. I keep up to date with the latest innovations in dentistry through post graduate courses. I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people attain an attractive smile and motivating them to optimum oral health. I would be delighted to look after you and your family.

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Science (BDsc) from the University of Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE) in Brazil in 1997. After having worked as a Dental Practitioner in Brazil for many years I moved overseas, first to Japan and then to Australia in 2007.

I am a certified Dental Practitioner in Australia and have completed postgraduate education in Endodontics from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and thousands of hours continuing my education in both Brazil and Australia. I joined the professional team at Blue House Dental in 2011 and enjoy my days looking after the patients and advising them to the best of my knowledge on looking after their oral care.

I love spending time with my son and husband and enjoy outdoor activities, including going to the beach, bushwalking and camping in this beautiful country.
