Dr Iles qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and worked in a variety of practices prior to taking up a position with DB Dental in Innaloo. Dr Iles is a general dentist and enjoys all aspects of dentistry from fillings and dentures, to root canal treatments, to crowns and bridges. His specific subject interests within dentistry are: – Paediatric dentistry – acclimatising young children to the dental surgery environment and providing simple and effective treatments and advice. Dr Iles aims to build confidence and help children look after their teeth thus giving them the best possible start on the road to healthy teeth for life. – Root canal treatments (Endodontics) – removal of inflamed and/or infected tooth pulp due to decay, trauma, cracks, crowns or large fillings. – Minor oral surgery – specifically the extraction of badly decayed and broken teeth that need to be removed to prevent pain and infection. – Prosthodontics – the replacement of missing teeth by the use of dentures, bridges and implants. Dr Iles is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australia and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD), and the Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS). He is also a qualified pharmacist, holding a Masters (MPharm) degree and working in the field for 10 years, so patients taking multiple medications can rest assured that they will be well looked after during their treatment. During his time away from the dental surgery, Dr Iles enjoys keeping fit by cycling, swimming, trail and road running, however, he most enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young son, soaking up the fantastic quality of life that WA has to offer.

Following qualification as a dentist in 1985 I spent 17 years in a private practice in Redhill, Surrey, England. I acheived my postgraduate diploma in general dental practice (MFGDP) in 1998. Then in 2003 we made the momentus decision to migrate to beautiful Perth, Australia. Since then I have worked with DB Dental at the Innaloo practice. The support from DB Dental (and David and Susie Bailey) has been amazing, and the advances the dental group has made been impressive. My interests are varied, with hands on creative hobbies and getting out as much as possible involving cycling and treking (and the wife of course).

Hello, I’m Dr Helen Marriott, and I would love to care for you and your family’s dental needs. I approach dentistry holistically, to help people build confidence and trust, through a gentle, caring approach to relieve discomfort, provide preventive care, to try to help you avoid any treatment if possible. I use a minimally invasive approach, where possible. I like to make costs very transparent, and will give different options to work respectfully within your budget. I would love to help care for all your dental needs, and can provide cosmetic treatments such as whitening, Invisalign for quick, straight teeth, and cosmetic veneers and fillings, as well as the full range of dental services; endodontics, periodontics, and crowns and bridges. I particularly love caring for childrens teeth, to help keep their teeth healthy for life. As a child I decided my goal was dentistry, and I have a passion for it, which led to my graduation from King’s college, London in 2004. I previously owned a practice in the U.K. Which was sold so that I could focus on raising my two children. We came to Perth in 2016, and love it so much we’re building a house here. In my spare time, I love paddle boarding with my kids, and running and cycling with my husband.
