About Us

Located within Westfield Chermside shopping centre, National Dental Care Chermside (formerly McCann and Kinross Dental Surgery) offers a wide range of general and family dentistry services and treatments to help you improve and maintain your long-term dental health.

Placing patient comfort and safety above all, your trained and experienced dentists work with you to ensure you achieve your desired treatment outcome.

We are a people focused practice, and take particular pride in the fact that you will be treated as one of the family when you come to our surgery. Our staff enjoy working with children and the elderly, and offer additional support for anxious or nervous patients.

We have a fully equipped outpatient anaesthetic theatre for attending patients electing to be treated under general anaesthesia.

Specialist medical anaesthetists attend our practice and are supported by experienced anaesthetic nurses. Depending on your health and treatment needs our anaesthetists can provide light sedation, deep sedation (twilight anaesthetic) or full general anaesthesia.

Servicing patients in these areas: Geebung, Wavell Heights, Chermside West, Virginia, Northgate.

New Patient Experience

Once you arrive at the practice you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to fill in our New Patient Form. It is important for us to collect this information not only for your health but also to gain an understanding of your previous dental experiences and treatment to ensure we can plan your treatment.

You will then meet with your dentist for 30 minutes to discuss in detail your needs and requirements. Together in the treatment room we will collect all relevant information, which will include a full examination, x-rays, digital pictures and models of your mouth. All this will be collated and we will go through any treatment recommendations and the associated costs with you at a subsequent consultation appointment the following week.
