About Us

National Dental Care Byron Bay, located in the newly rebuilt arcade on Lawson Street, offers four state of the art surgeries including the latest equipment, technology and materials.

With decades of experience behind them, our team of dentists and hygienists have adopted a philosophy built around providing gentle, caring dental treatments for their patients.

Completely revamped after a fire destroyed the arcade in early 2014, Byron Bay is one of National Dental Care’s most beautiful practices.

We are committed to providing optimum standards in dental health, and cater for all members of the family, including children and the elderly, with a focus on obtaining long-term results.

Servicing patients in these areas: Skinner Shoot, Mcleods Shoot, Suffolk Park, Talofa and Broken Head.

New Patient Experience

Once you arrive at the practice you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to fill in our New Patient Form. It is important for us to collect this information not only for your health but also to gain an understanding of your previous dental experiences and treatment to ensure we can plan your treatment.

You will then meet with your dentist for 30 minutes to discuss in detail your needs and requirements. Together in the treatment room we will collect all relevant information, which will include a full examination, x-rays. All this will be collated and we will go through any treatment recommendations and the associated costs with you at a subsequent consultation appointment the following week.

We will also be introducing you to our hygienist. Our hygienists are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease and the prevention of tooth decay. You will be seeing Michelle Dunnett as part of your continuing care program. This ongoing maintenance is important to keep you looking good and feeling good and to maintain any work that we do for you. This will take about 40-60 minutes of your time.
