Melissa began her career in the dental industry in 2014 as a dental assistant. She fell quickly in love with the dental profession and completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide in 2019.
Melissa believes that the mouth is the gateway to the rest of your body, so it is important to work with the patient and educate them on the importance of prevention and maintenance. Melissa has a keen interest in working with young comprehensive children, slowly building their confidence to make their dental appointment more enjoyable.
She is able to provide preventive care for anyone under 18 years old. She is also skilled in dental hygiene with a particular keen interest in providing treatment and ongoing maintenance for patients with gingival and periodontal disease.
She regularly attends courses to continue to further improve and expand her skills and knowledge.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, painting, games nights and trying new food.
