Mirelle Pontes Marques completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Rio de Janeiro State University, one of Brazil’s top-ranked institutions. Seven years later, she obtained her Graduate Diploma, becoming a registered specialist in Orthodontics, dedicating herself to delivering orthodontic care across all age groups.
After nearly two decades of clinical experience in Brazil, Mirelle made the bold decision to start afresh in Australia. She lived in Tasmania while preparing for and successfully passing the Australian Dental Board exams and has since relocated to Brisbane to join her husband and re-establish her clinical career.
Mirelle is passionate about orthodontics, preventive dentistry, and patient education. She believes that empowering patients with knowledge is key to achieving long-term oral health and confident smiles. Her approach is grounded in empathy, precision, and a commitment to interdisciplinary care.
Outside of dentistry, Mirelle enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing by the beach. She brings warmth, experience and is excited to contribute to the Australian dental community.
