Alexandra Hills Dentist urges sports people to try custom mouthguards
National Dental Care Alexandra Hills dentist Dr Zaid says, “sports is a great way to stay fit, and encourage kids to get outside and play, but a mouthguard can make a big difference, particularly if you are playing a contact sport.”
Why get a custom-fitted mouthguard (and not just buy one from a store)?
When you visit a dental practice for a mouthguard, it is made for your teeth. This means a mould is taken of your mouth and the mouthguard is made specifically for you in a laboratory.
This means you have a more specific fit, and that can give you greater protection if you are injured.
What will it cost?
We understand price is a consideration, so to encourage sportsmen, women and children to try a custom-fitted mouthguard, we are offering these GAP-FREE with any health fund dental extra coverage. This means you can pay $0 out of pocket.
What if you don’t have health insurance?
We want all of our patients to stay fit and healthy, regardless of whether they have private health insurance, so we are offering these to non-health fund patients for only $130.
*These prices are valid for children and adults. They are valid for any health insurance with dental extras. They are not offered in conjunction with any other offer or discount and can be withdrawn at the discretion of the National Dental Care Alexandra Hills.
